
Provolt in 2014
CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — After reports of child endangerment, a Chillicothe man was taken into custody.
According to a news release from the Chillicothe Police Department, Chillicothe Police Officers responded to Brunswick Street in Chillicothe yesterday morning to investigate the allegations. After the investigation, officers took two children into the home and placed them under protective custody. Curtis James Provolt, 32, of Chillicothe was arrested.
Provolt was informally charged with Possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Provolt is being held in the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
