LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — A traffic stop Monday night in Lafayette County led to an arrest and multiple charges filed against the driver.
According to the Highway Patrol, a trooper pulled over Nichole R. Stone, 28, of Lone Jack, for failure to stay in the correct lane of traffic at around 8:51 p.m. Monday.
Following the stop, she was arrested and charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony possession of a controlled substance.
In addition, she is accused of failure to drive within a single lane and driving while revoked. She was also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant from Hickory County.
Stone was transported to the Lafayette County Jail for a 24-hour investigative hold.
