BOONVILLE, Mo – Cooper County deputies responded to reports of a robbery at the Eagle Stop store in the early morning of Thursday, April 14, 2016.
The report was received at around 1:30 a.m., from the store off I-70 at Highway 87, before deputies and Boonville police began a search for the subject. The investigation eventually led them to a nearby motel, at which, Robert T. Lozano, 39, was apprehended, and taken into custody.
Lozano was found to have been a fugitive from justice, with a parole violation warrant out of the state of California.
He was charged with 1st degree robbery, and armed criminal action.
He is detained at the Cooper County Jail in lieu of $200,000 cash-only bond.
