DOWNING, Mo – Three counts of manslaughter are being recommended by Missouri Highway Patrol, against a Queen City man after a vehicle accident Sunday afternoon, November 13.
A pick-up truck carrying six occupants rolled off the roadway, 5 miles southwest of Downing on Route D. An arrest report also cites charges for driving while intoxicated, and careless and imprudent driving, against Bradley Turner, 27.
Three teenagers, Alexis Shaw, 15, of Milan, Jason Sanning, 16, of Kirksville, and Laticia Potter, 18, of Queen City were killed in the crash and pronounced at the scene.
Serious injuries were sustained by Angalet Pogue, 16, of Milan. Alyssa Sanning, 17, of Kirksville received minor injuries. They were taken to local hospitals.
Turner refused treatment of minor injuries at the scene.
