SPRINGFIELD, Mo – A southern Missouri man pleaded guilty Thursday, November 10, to charges of fraud.
A federal court in Springfield heard the guilty plea from Robert Keehner, 49, of Norwood. After receiving two loans from the US Department of Agriculture through the Farm Service Agency amounting to $185,000, Keehner failed to report the sale of mortgaged livestock and dairy farm equipment previously pledged to FSA.
A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled. The maximum sentence allowed is up to 5 years in prison without parole.
