HOWARD COUNTY, Mo – A marijuana growing operation was halted in Howard County, after two persons were charged Wednesday, October 26, in related cases.
According to a Justice Department news release, law enforcement arrested Carlos Vazguez, 26, and Rigaberto Canacho-Reyes, 23, of unknown addresses. They were found and arrested at Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge Tuesday.
Authorities say nearly five acres of land at the refuge was being used for growing and processing marijuana for delivery.
