AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. – A Mexico, Missouri, man is now charged with several felonies, after his arrest for domestic assault 
Sunday.
On Monday, authorities executed a search warrant on Eagle Drive in Mexico, at the home of Royal Lee Hampton, 39,. During the search, officers seized meth, adderall, drug paraphernalia, forty firearms and ammunition.
Hampton was charged Tuesday with kidnapping, felonious restraint, armed criminal action, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of domestic assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
Hampton is being held on a $150.000 cash only bond for the domestic violence and $30.000 cash or surety on the drug violations. No court date has been set yet.
