SEDALIA, MO – Formal charges have been recommended against a Sedalia resident, believed to have been involved in illegal drug activity.
Police say they received complaints from neighboring residences which led to traffic stops in the 1600 block of West 9th Street. A resident at that address, Tyler Rusk, 29, was allegedly found to be in possession of fentanyl. Officers also note a second suspect departing the residence was also arrested. When police attempted to stop Ahmad Dupree, 30, he fled on foot and was shortly thereafter taken into custody. Dupree was accused of methamphetamine distribution, assault on law enforcement, and driving while revoked.
Formal charges are pending.
