LIBERTY, MO – A stolen vehicle chased into Clay County by Clinton County deputies Wednesday, crashed into a Liberty hotel.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pursued a vehicle with stolen license plates on southbound Interstate 35, where Clay County deputies spiked the tires. The car pulled into a hotel parking lot, where two occupants exited the vehicle while it was in motion. Minor damage was noted to the building.
Two people were arrested. The driver, Jeremy Perkins, was taken into custody for outstanding warrants. Perkins is additionally charged with receiving stolen property, property damage, resisting, and speeding.
