DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. — Bond has been denied for a Kansas City man charged with drug trafficking in Daviess County.
Bryan Norton, 40, was originally arrested on July 25 by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Officers allegedly found around 61 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Norton was initially stopped for expired registration. He denied a consent search and a canine unit then indicated the presence of controlled substances. Other substances believed to be found included narcotics, drug paraphernalia and over $1,000 in cash.
He’s charged with second-degree drug trafficking, drug possession and paraphernalia and motor vehicle infractions. He’s currently in custody at the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail.
A court date has not been set yet.
