KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – A Kirksville man accused of assault made an initial appearance Wedneday morning in Adair County Court.
Records suggest Christopher M. Lake, 36, was arrested July 2 after police responded to a residence on North Franklin in which most of the windows had been broken out. An alleged victim in the residence had multiple injuries according to police, and had been hiding from the defendant when police arrived.
Lake is accused of kidnapping while inflicting injury and terrorizing, unlawful weapons use, and domestic assault.
