Miller County, MO – A man is hospitalized and a woman went to jail after a serious car accident.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said a woman had drug paraphernalia on her when the driver of the car she was riding in, dozed off.
Police said 27-year-old David B. Faulkner of Iberia was driving on Highway 54 near Brown Rd. Saturday afternoon, when he went to sleep and drove off the roadway. He then reportedly over-corrected causing his 1997 Mazda truck to flip over and catch on fire.
Authorities said they were both wearing their seat belts. Faulkner went to the hospital with moderate injuries. 25-year-old Dedra A. George of Iberia received minor injuries, was arrested on drug paraphernalia charges and released.
