JOHNSON COUNTY,Mo.(Metro News)— A Johnson County woman is facing federal charges in connection with an interstate prostitution ring.
The 61-year-old woman is charged with one count of transportation with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct. Prosecutors say the woman, who owned or operated massage parlors and spas in Olathe and Leawood, was arrested after she arrived at KCI to pick up an undercover confidential source to work in a massage parlor. Authorities say employees at her massage parlors offered customers sexual services.
