SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A Malta Bend man was arrested early Saturday morning and is accused of multiple felonies.
25-year-old John D. Kirby was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday.
He is preliminarily charged with felony possession of a controlled substance – marijuana, felony unlawful possession of a firearm, felony resisting arrest, and felony tampering in the second degree.
Kirby was taken to Saline County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
