CHULA, MO – A New Cambria man appeared in court Wednesday morning for an initial appearance in a new case out of Livingston County.

Deputies arrested a man Tuesday armed with knives outside a residence in Chula. Sheriff, Steve Cox, officers responded when a report was received regarding an armed man behaving strangely outside a residence in Chula.  Cox says, Todd A. Grigsby, 32, of New Cambria, fled into a residence when deputies arrived on scene, and refused to comply with demands from officers. Grigsby reportedly continued to be uncooperative when taken into custody a short time later.

Charges are being sought for resisting arrest, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $25,000. Grigsby is also on parole for assault and burglary.
