RAY COUNTY, Mo. – A Hardin man received his initial arraignment Tuesday, over a domestic assault arrest in Ray County.
John W. Martin, 27, is 
charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, assault in the second and third degrees and domestic assault in the third degree. Court documents allege Martin crashed his vehicle into another car in Henrietta, then assaulted the other driver and tried to kidnap a child in that vehicle.
Martin pleaded not guilty to the charges and was given a July 16, 2019 preemptory hearing date.
