COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A counsel status hearing was held Tuesday morning for a man from the State of California charged with drug trafficking in Cooper County.
37-year-old Zechariah Heryford appeared with his attorney on accusations from the Missouri Highway Patrol of drug trafficking in the second degree.
Heryford was stopped in January on Interstate 70 and found to be in possession of approximately 115 pounds of marijuana.
A setting preliminary hearing is now scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on May 24.
