PETTIS COUNTY, MO – Arraignment was held in an armed assault case out of Pettis County yesterday.
Charges against Bobby Jackson, 22, of Sedalia, originated March, 2018, after police were called to E 5th street in response to a man suffering a gun shot wound. A probable cause statement indicates an argument ensued between the victim and suspect as the result of a failed drug deal, after which, Jackson is alleged to have shot the victim in the leg.
Jackson is accused of assault, armed criminal action, and exhibiting a weapon. A further hearing was scheduled for March 26.
