PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — A Warsaw man charged after leading police on chase in Sedalia now has a private attorney to represent him.

Sedalia Police allege that Lawrence A. Cole, 40, sped away when an officer tried to stop him for speeding in December 2018.
After a short chase, Cole finally pulled over on Marvin Avenue.
During his arrest, Cole admitted to authorities that there were drugs in his vehicle. Cole is charged with possession of a controlled substance and felony resisting arrest.
An April 11 hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m.
