COOPER COUNTY, MO – An out of state resident is scheduled for arraignment in a Cooper County drug trafficking case.
The charges against Chad Davis, 31, of Anna Il. eventuated after a vehicle stop along I-70, in October last year. A probable cause statement suggests a search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 80 lbs of marijuana in vacuum-sealed packages. The felony trafficking charge is combined with a misdemeanor paraphernalia possession allegation. Davis was set at liberty after posting surety bond last year. Arraignment is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
