COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A Sedalia resident, with an ongoing case against him in several counties for identity theft, was arrested by the Missouri Highway Patrol Sunday evening.
The felony warrant listed for James Byerly, 34 was out of Johnson County for identity theft.
He was arrested by troopers in Cooper County, and was taken to the county jail awaiting extradition.
Byers also has an active case out of Pettis County investigating a similar charge.
