CHILLICOTHE, MO – A suspect was arrested last week after Chillicothe police were called to reports of a stabbing.
In a news release Monday morning, officers say they responded to the 500 block of Waples Street around 6:19 p.m. Friday, and later arrested Corey Jay-Michael Gibson for the alleged crime. The alleged victim was treated for stab wounds at Hedrick Medical Center. Gibson was transported to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond. Charges listed in court records include 1st degree assault, and armed criminal action.
