CARROLLTON, MO – Initial arraignment of a Sweet Springs resident accused of drug trafficking was held Monday in Carroll County.
A probable cause statement by Carrollton Police says Gabriel Cox, 20, was stopped in the area of East Benton and Main Streets in Carrollton October 12. He was arrested after the seizure of over 54 grams of cocaine were seized from his vehicle during a consented search. Cox admitted to officers that he purchased the cocaine for $2,000, and intended to deliver it to a location in Higginsville. Cox was detained in lieu of $50,000 bond. A further hearing of the case is scheduled Wednesday at 9 a.m.
