DATE COUNTY, Mo. – At 9 a.m. on September 11, 2018, the Dade County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a body in Sons Creek on Dade County Road 112, 
west of County Road 91.
Deputies discovered a male subject, later identified as Devin M. Hunt, 31, of Greenfield, lying deceased in the water. An examination of the body revealed that Hunt had died from an apparent gunshot wound. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Dade County Sheriff’s Department conducted a joint investigation, which led to the arrest of Calvin Trent, 59, and Willis Trent, 36, of Greenfield, at 5:23 p.m. on September 11, 2018.
Both subjects are being held with no bond in the Dade County Jail on charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action.
