HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — Three Kansas City residents are behind bars and facing possible charges in Henry County.
According to arrest reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the trio was detained in Henry County around 1:48 a.m. Sunday.
17-year-old William D. Watts, 25-year-old Cartez D. Mosby and 33-year-old Charles A. Parker all face felony allegations for possession of a controlled substance – heroin, possession of a stolen firearm and tampering with a motor vehicle.
In addition, Parker is accused of driving while intoxicated by drugs and Mosby faces an additional felony allegation for alleged assault on a law enforcement officer.
All three subjects were transferred to the Henry County Jail for 24-hour investigative holds.
Formal charges will be sent to the Henry County Prosecuting Attorney for consideration.
