MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. — A Warsaw woman is in custody after taking her four-year-old son from a court-ordered custodial grandparents home early Sunday morning.
An endangered child advisory was cancelled early Wednesday morning for Grayson Darnell when he and his mother, Julie Darnell were located after a three day search in Moniteau County.
Several agencies were involved in a search after their abandoned vehicle was found near High Point, Mo. Sunday night.
Police said Darnell entered her parents’ home around 3:00 a.m. Sunday and took Grayson without her parents consent. The court had awarded the child’s grandparents custody due to Julie Darnell’s mental health issues and alleged methamphetamine use.
