SHELBY COUNTY, Mo.- Two Kansas City, Mo., men are being detained in Shelby County following their arrests last night on drug allegations.
According to the filed arrest reports, at around 9:40 p.m., Demarcus Johnson, 27, and Dashawn London, 22, were both alleged to be in possession of marijuana. London, who is wanted out of Platte County on a warrant for probation violation, has been charged with felony possession of over 35 grams of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 10 grams of marijuana.
It is unclear if both of the arrests are related. Johnson and London were transported to the Shelby County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
