BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. – A man who assaulted two deputies during an attempted arrest in St. Joseph, was taken into custody Friday night.
Jason Roberts, 35, of St. 
Joseph, reportedly struck the deputies with a vehicle and rammed a patrol car Wednesday, before he drove away from a Casey’s parking lot. The officers were trying to serve outstanding felony warrants for Roberts.
The St. Joseph Police Department and Buchanan County Drug Strike Force worked with Buchanan County to locate Roberts around 11:00 Friday night.
