BATES COUNTY, Mo. — A Raytown resident was arrested for drug possession Sunday in Bates County, according to records released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol arrested Alexander Linthicum, 23, just before 12:00 p.m. Sunday on felony allegations of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana as well as for alleged unlawful possession of a firearm.
Linthicum was later released from custody after an initial investigation. Formal charges have not yet been filed.
