EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. — An Excelsior Springs man is free after posting surety bond Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Duane Loomis, 57, pointed a loaded firearm at a child under the age of 12 during an incident on Klatt Road April 24.

He faces felony charges including for endangering the welfare of a child, armed criminal action and unlawful exhibition of a weapon.
Loomis posted surety bond Wednesday, amounting to $25,000, after a judge granted a bond reduction from the original $100,000 earlier this month.
A peremptory hearing is scheduled for June 5.
