BROOKFIELD, MO – Three residents of Brookfield who were implicated in a burglary reported from a residence on Main Street, waived formal arraignment Thursday in Linn County.
Police say they responded Sunday to reports by the victim, who claimed that fuel and two minibikes were stolen from a garage on the property. An investigation led to the recovery of the bikes, and the arrest of three suspects. Charges against Cody Ward, 26, Kody Waters, 18, and Michael Bosley, 21, include 2nd degree burglary and tampering.
Ward is in custody at Macon County Jail. Waters and Bosley were released on own recognizance bonds. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for June.
