RAY COUNTY, MO – A Ray County man is to be arraigned Tuesday morning on three felony charges related to an incident April 24 on Klatt Road in Excelsior Springs.
A probable cause statement suggests Duane Loomis, 57, pointed a firearm at a child under the age of 12. It reportedly contained live ammunition. Loomis is charged with endangering a child’s welfare, armed criminal action, and unlawful exhibition of a weapon.
He is in custody at the Ray County Jail, in lieu of $100,000 bond. Arraignment is at 8:30 a.m.
